Pianos About Town
In 2026 NOLA Creative Company was hired to coordinate the beloved Pianos About Town collaboration project between Bohemian Foundation, the City of Fort Collins and the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority. In the past 16 years this program has completed nearly 200 painted pianos which are placed around the city of Fort Collins for public use.
The goal of Pianos About Town is to seamlessly blend music and art and allow the community to be a part of the process from beginning to end. We are currently looking for 10 artists/artist teams to paint full-size upright pianos in Old Town Square during the summer of 2026. Artists/teams will be compensated with a $1,000 stipend. All applications must be received by April 24, 2026.
